What is up? Welcome into your Daily Buckeye Blitz for week 13. We know what’s going on. First I want to give you my picks. Let’s jump right into it. I’ve got a few games we’re looking at for Saturday. I am your host Joe from The Buckeye Cast. I get a little crazy on Michigan day. Saturday November 26 2022. Coming to you live from my couch. So I did not feel like sitting at a desk today. All right so big news in the recruiting world. We’re going to get to after these picks.
Let’s jump into the picks. First let’s go. We got a night game here starting off with number 15 Notre Dame at eight and three visiting number six in the country according to the playoff committee USC. 10-1 usc’s favored by four. I’m going money line here. I’m taking Notre Dame for the win. F the points. That’s a 7:30 on ABC by the way. So I would definitely I’ll be watching that one for sure.
Next game I got Big Ten action. Purdue at Indiana at 3:30 on BTN. Taking under the under 53 and a half okay. Purdue Indiana under 53 and a half.
To the Iron Bowl. SEC the 3:30 CBS. I won’t be able to do that much longer. I guess well for the Big Ten games. I guess not for the SEC. All right Auburn going to number seven Alabama. Bama’s favored by 22 and a half. So I’ve got two bets on this one. I take bama with the points. Take the spread 22 and a half and I’m taking the Auburn Tigers team total under 13. 13 is what I got locked in right now. So team total for Auburn for the game under.
All right let’s go LSU number five in the country at nine and two they’re favored by 10 at Texas A&M. That’s a 7 P.M on ESPN. I’m taking LSU to give the 10.
Let’s go to South Carolina. The Cocks going to Clemson. Number eight Clemson South Carolina seven and four Clemson’s ten and one. I’m taking the under under 53. I think this is going to be a struggle. That’s a noon game on ABC by the way. They don’t usually get that ABC action.
Next I got Iowa State at TCU. TCU we know is number four according to the playoff rankings 11-0 undefeated. I am taking TCU and -10. Take TCU with the 10. That’s a 4 P.M on Fox by the way. So that’ll be after the Buckeye game.
Number nine Oregon at nine and two they’re favored by three at Oregon State. That’s a 3:30 ABC game. I’m taking Oregon to cover the three all right.
Now to our game at noon on Fox. Big fox Michigan number three in the country 11-0. 8-0 in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes number two in the country same record 11-0 8-0 in the Big Ten. Buckeyes I see a couple different spreads on this one minus seven and a half minus eight. Obviously getting the home cooking home spread home favorite. I think this is going to be a big win for the Buckeyes. Let me break this down for you. So each quarter the Buckeyes are favored right now. So I put in action on every quarter and every half. Here we go. So my Buckeyes are favored by two and a half in the first quarter. Five and a half second quarter. Two and a half third quarter. And by a half point in the fourth quarter. In the first half Buckeyes are favored minus four and a half and second half minus four. So see how this works out. Buckeyes are a favorite they are not supposed to lose a single quarter or a half. That’s why I say this is an easy duck.
I won’t say easy. It’s never easy. This is a win going away. Okay I’m talking JJ has to throw it around late in the fourth just just to get close all right. So I’m talking the victory by two to three scores. Okay all right those are my best for for this week 13 slate.
Now I want to get you some recruiting action. We’ve got some news on Caleb Downs the five-star safety out of Georgia currently committed to Bama. He is supposed to be visiting Saturday for the game. He’s not going to the Iron Bowl. Now hopefully that happens. So Caleb Downs is huge getting him on campus. I don’t talk flip yet. But we’re getting there Samson Okunlola. He hasn’t confirmed whether he’s coming or not.
Reuben Owens hasn’t confirmed whether he’s coming or not. Obviously with the Tyseer Denmark commitment to Oregon yesterday or on Thanksgiving he’s been removed. He’s not he’s not coming to the game. So as of right now the big additions are for 2023 anyway. We got Damon Wilson. Commits I won’t go through the commits. Joshua Mickens the end. The QB Lincoln Kienholz that they just offered this week. Running back Tre Cornist safety KJ Bolden Corner Bryce West receiver Milan Graham defensive end King Joseph Edwards and offensive lineman Jordan Seaton.
These guys are those guys are 2024s. Tre Cornist and Lincoln Kienholz are the end of the 2023 class. So got a another running back. Jordan Marshall from the 24 class and Stacy Gage another highly ranked 24 class running back. So those are the big additions. Boo Carter is another running back from the 24 class.
