What’s up? Welcome into your Daily Buckeye Blitz for a game day Saturday November 19, 2022. I am your host Joe From The Buckeye Cast. Bringing it to you. If it’s a Saturday you know that we’re bringing you college football picks. Here are my picks and predictions for week 12.
Starting it off with your nooners. Oh boy. Going to Michigan. Number three ranked Michigan by the way in the CFP rankings. Michigan’s favored by 17 and a half. This is a noon game on ABC. We’ll also catch if Bert’s running back is dinged up. That’s not a good thing going into this game. I would have if he were healthy. I would say the spread would be a little tighter. But I’m seeing 17, 17 and a half around town. So I’m going Michigan to cover cover the 17 and a half.
Unfortunately with a dinged up running back I’m not sure Bert’s defense can keep the boys in blue in check. It’s going to be a Blake Corum show and Donovan Edwards again. I don’t think they’ll let JJ throw the ball downfield. And he’s been wildly inaccurate anyways. So Michigan cover is a 17 and a half.
Coming up we got another new Big Ten game. Indiana at Michigan State. Sparty favored by 10. Indiana got beat up in Columbus recently. So I’m taking Michigan State to cover the ten. These guys need to get right and I’m also taking the over on this this game. On BTN yeah it is.
Next we got another Noon game going to the Big-12. Number four TCU favored by two and a half at Baylor. This is your Big Noon on Fox. I’m taking TCU with to cover the two and a half. Baylor I know they have a good defense but TCU’s offense is just a well-oiled machine right now. I think they roll right through Baylor. Baylor just doesn’t have the the horses on offense. So take the horny frogs there.
Oh another big 12 game we got K-State going to West Virginia. Country Roads Take Me Home. This is a weird 2 p.m on the Big 12 slash ESPN Plus network. What? I’ve never even heard of these. Anyway I’m taking the under here. It’s going to be chilly in the mountains so take the under. Defensive struggle there.
Next we got our 330 CBS game. Favored by 22 and a half at Kentucky. Take Georgia all day. Kentucky’s been playing like I’ve said this on multiple shows get the hell out of here with that will Levis first round draft pick. If he’s a first round draft pick and why can’t he score? At least put his team on his shoulders for a game or two? That guy’s garbage. get him out of here.
Next up we got Bedlam Bedlam Bedlam. Oklahoma State versus Oklahoma. Oh boy what is happening there. These guys might not even make a bowl game. God I’m gonna go. But I’m gonna take Oklahoma plus seven and a half. At those points just too much Oklahoma State. I’m sorry I’m taking Oklahoma State plus seven and a half not Oklahoma. I’m backwards. Anyways Oklahoma State plus seven and a half.
I think the mullet gets the offense together and they finally put some points up. I don’t know what happened to it. It’s disappeared this season. But this is where I will regain and I think you throw all that out the window. and we’ll see what happens. Is this the last year they play this? Might be the last year they play each other in Bedlam. That’s a 7:30 game on ABC.
By the way and take the over. I’m taking the over on that game I think there’s going to be some points scored.
8:00 on Fox. Fox has got some big games. Number seven USC versus UCLA. Taking UCLA plus two and a half. Obviously USC is the favorite here. But I think I think old Chipper gets things together. DTR puts puts the team on his back. I have zero faith in Lincoln Riley and his defense. So take UCLA to cover. If you can find the UCLA team total take the over on the team total. You see a life of the game. So I’m saying that Chip’s going to move the ball on USC. Yeah are you surprised that Alex Grinch defense would be questioned? The nerve.
Oh next up we got some some PAC-tion after dark. I like to call it. You too late Utah. I take Utah. Oregon is 10:30 p.m on ESPN. What a freaking time to play that game. How the hell am I supposed to watch that? I’m not watching that live. My sleep is important to me Jesus. Utah at Oregon 10:30 p.m Wow ranked teams get no love on ESPN. So I’m just taking the over. I think there’s going to be a lot of points scored here.
To your Buckeye game at 3:30 on the ABC. Down by the shores of the Olentangy. Yeah picking the Buckeyes first half Team total and I’m taking the Buckeyes to cover the 27 and a half. I’ve seen it drop down to 26. I know it’s going to be a little chilly in Maryland but Buckeyes roll in a clean one. They get the starters out early but I’m not taking the over. Do not take the over.
I think it was like 62 or six two and a half. I I don’t plan on Maryland just got shut out by Penn State. I wouldn’t put a lot of faith in Maryland putting points up.
